4 years of research. 4 years of monitoring races, form, trainer patterns and everything possible to find a profitable backing system.
Firstly, let me introduce myself. My name is Bernard Waters. I have written 4 highly profitable methods with great success, but I wanted ‘Par Excellence’. I knew there was a profitable angle in finding profits from backing horses. I analysed tips like the brilliant Paul Kealy in the Racing Post and Hugh Taylor on attheraces.

Whilst I admired the way they went about their strategies something struck me big and to be honest it was always in my head bursting to get out.
The key factor that these guys had and the thing I knew was that to get long term profits from backing horses you had to bet against the crowd. How can you possibly go forward backing 4/5 shots in maidens and novice hurdles? Every betting shop punter will have these backed single and in multiple bets like Lucky 15s every day of the week.
Of course, many will win but £1 on returns £1.80? What’s the point and many will lose. Hands up if you’ve had a Lucky 15 with winners at 11/4, 7/2, 6/1 and waiting on a 4/7 shot in the bumper which looks a stone bonker of a certainty and runs like a drain. I have and the disappointment is soul destroying as you considered this the ‘banker’.
I hated the feeling having tidy winners only for the obvious horse of the day to be having fish and chips at the start and run like death. NO.NO NO.No more. Let’s get a strategy backing singles each way at nice prices which avoid the obvious.
What does your system backer want from a system ? Answer: Something quick, easy to operate, uncomplicated and horses that can be backed to each way level stakes at SP.
This part is crucial when analysing a system’s performance. Many of these chancers claim a winner of 16/1 that wins at 7/2. Now I’m not saying the 16s wasn’t there but they chance their arm with manipulating the prices. The only way to be honest and true to gauge a horse racing system is to Industry SP.with no arguments.
I set out to test my method after putting it together after a ton of research for 6 months. My strategy was to never bet more than 2 a day and place 1pt each way all bets from March 2024 to August 31, 2024. The strategy produced a profit at Industry SP of +103 points in 6 months. A perfectly satisfactory return in just 6 months with certain things sticking out at me. Firstly, how well it performed on the all-weather. Very promising and a strategy that was fit for purpose.
I could go into much further detail, but you’ve heard it all before and I won’t bore you to tears. I wasn’t even intending to sell my method until my brother-in-law persuaded me to do it and said he would do all my marketing.
The full method now tweaked and perfected will be my final work. I am now 67 and the grandkids run rings round me and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I could produce tables, graphs, charts, spreadsheets etc. but let’s be honest here. They can easily be made up and too many of these chancers online just fiddle the facts to sting people. I like to think that the word of a gentleman and somebody who has researched everything possible to develop a winning strategy is better than producing pie charts and graphs like the old Open University programmes.
So, the crunch. What is a fair price for a method that has been put together tirelessly and will continue to find big odds winners? I see online some of these idiots sell total rubbish for £500+. Unbelievable. Michael my brother-in-law said a very fair price for my work would be £300. I agreed that was fair, but I’ve decided that 75 copies will be sold at a price of £175.
